  Rarities today comprised the Northern Waterthrush still on the Isles of Scilly, Greater Yellowlegs in Aberdeenshire, Black Duck and Falcated Duck in County Mayo, Hume's Yellow-browed Warbler in Dorset, Blue-winged Teals in both Clyde and Cornwall, Black-winged Stilt in County Wexford, Spotted Sandpiper in Somerset, Long-billed Dowitchers in Dumfries and Galloway and Somerset (2), Little Bunting in Devon, and Glossy Ibises in Cleveland, Dorset, Essex, Gwynedd, Pembrokeshire (3) and the Isle of Wight.

Scarcities were headed by two White-spotted Bluethroats at Spurn, East Yorkshire, whilst a Purple Heron remained in Devon, a Night Heron was in County Cork, Rose-coloured Starling in Hampshire, Richard's Pipit in Dorset, Cattle Egret in Essex, American Wigeon in County Antrim, Surf Scoters in both County Cork and Cornwall, and seven Green-winged Teals were noted between Hampshire, County Londonderry and Aberdeenshire.
