| The Spanish Sparrow and Dark-eyed Junco in Hampshire,
Northern Waterthrush in Isles of Scilly, Coues's Arctic Redpoll in
Norfolk and Siberian Stonechat in Co Wexford were all confirmed as still
present today. Lingering waders included Long-billed Dowitcher in
Dumfries & Galloway, Spotted Sandpiper in Somerset and Lesser
Yellowlegs in Cornwall, whilst Glossy Ibises were logged in
Lancashire, Dorset and Essex.
The best of the rest included Black-bellied Dipper in West Yorkshire, Pectoral Sandpiper and Rose-coloured Starling in Ayrshire and American Wigeons in Norfolk and West Yorkshire. |
