Tuesday 6th March 2012
A Black-bellied Dipper at Denso Marston Nature Reserve, West Yorkshire is presumably the bird previously reported in October 2011 at the same site. A brief Glossy Ibis at Broom GPs, Bedfordshire is the first for the county, and completes the English set, with every county now having the species on their list.

Lingering rarities seen today included Siberian Stonechat and two Long-billed Dowitchers in County Wexford, Spanish Sparrow and Dark-eyed Junco in Hampshire, Hooded Merganser in Kent, Paddyfield Warbler in Sussex, Red-breasted Goose and Ross's Goose in Dumfries and Galloway, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Spotted Sandpiper in Somerset and Glossy Ibises in Suffolk, Norfolk (2) and Dorset (2).
