| Lingering rarities included Paddyfield Warbler in West Sussex,
Spanish Sparrow in Hampshire, Desert Wheatear in East Yorkshire,
Blue-winged Teal on Isles of Scilly, Red-breasted Goose in Devon,
Bufflehead in Cornwall, Lesser Scaup in Gloucestershire and thirteen Glossy Ibises in Glamorgan.
Spotted Sandpipers remained in Devon, Somerset and Dorset.
The best of the rest comprised Yellow-browed Warblers in Cornwall (3), Devon (2) and Somerset (2), Cattle Egret in Hampshire and American Wigeon in West Yorkshire. |
