  Discoveries today included a Gull-billed Tern in Devon at Slapton Ley, a Caspian Tern in Norfolk at Breydon Water, and a Ferruginous Duck at Rushy Common, Oxfordshire.

Continuing rarities confirmed as still present today comprised the Long-tailed Shrike along the Gloucestershire/ Oxfordshire border, the Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Hudsonian Godwit and seven Zitting Cisticolas in Suffolk, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Ferruginous Duck in Northamptonshire, and White-rumped Sandpipers in County Wexford and East Yorkshire.

Significant late news for yesterday concerned a Black-headed Bunting in Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire.
