  The highlight of the day was the reappearance of the Sooty Tern at Coquet Island in Northumberland, which continued showing throughout the day.

The new rarity today was a Blyth's Reed Warbler at North Ronaldsay in Orkney.

Rarities included a Hudsonian Godwit at Cattawade on the Suffolk/Essex border, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, a Blue-cheeked Bee-eater in Orkney, a White-throated Sparrow in Fife, a White-winged Scoter in Lothian, a Red-footed Falcon in Lothian, a Ferruginous Duck in Northamptonshire/Leicestershire, a Long-tailed Shrike on the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border, White-rumped Sandpipers in Norfolk and East Yorkshire, a Semipalmated Sandpiper in Orkney, a Western Subalpine Warbler in Shetland, and Zitting Cisticolas in Suffolk.
