  New rarities today were a Red-footed Falcon near Gressenhall in Norfolk, a Baird's Sandpiper at Sheskinmore Lough in County Donegal, and the exciting news of 11 Zitting Cisticolas at Walberswick in Suffolk, a 2nd year of successful breeding.

Rarities included a Hooded Merganser in Suffolk, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, a Black Stork in Norfolk (highly mobile across several sites), a Long-tailed Shrike on the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border, a White-rumped Sandpiper in Norfolk, a Semipalmated Sandpiper in Orkney, a White-throated Sparrow in Fife, a Blue-cheeked Bee-eater in Orkney, a Red-footed Falcon in Lothian, White-winged Scoters in Lothian, a Hudsonian Godwit at Cattawade on the Suffolk/Essex border, and a Bonaparte's Gull in Gloucestershire.
