  New rarities today were a Red-throated Pipit at St Columb Minor in Cornwall, a White-rumped Sandpiper at Handa Island in Highland, and a Bonaparte's Gull at Criccieth in Gwynedd.

Rarities included a Long-tailed Shrike on the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border, a Blue-cheeked Bee-eater in Orkney, a White-winged Scoter in Lothian, a Red-footed Falcon in Lothian, a Black Stork in Norfolk, a Hudsonian Godwit at Cattawade on the Suffolk/Essex border, further White-rumped Sandpipers in Norfolk, Cornwall and Wirral, a Greenish Warbler in Shetland, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, and a White-throated Sparrow in Fife.
