  New rarities today were a Greenish Warbler at Sumburgh Head in Shetland, a Red-footed Falcon at Mablethorpe in Lincolnshire, a Hooded Merganser at Alton Water in Suffolk, White-rumped Sandpipers at Porth Reservoir at Formby Point in Merseyside, and a Caspian Tern at the Otter Estuary in Devon.

Rarities included Black Storks in Suffolk and Norfolk, a White-rumped Sandpiper in Norfolk, a White-rumped Sandpiper in County Wexford, a Red-footed Falcon in Lothian, White-winged Scoters in Lothian, a Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, a Hudsonian Godwit at Cattawade on the Suffolk/Essex border, a Long-tailed Shrike on the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border, a Ferruginous Duck in Northamptonshire/Leicestershire, a Blue-cheeked Bee-eater in Orkney, and a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk.
