Discoveries today included a White-rumped Sandpiper at Tramore Backstrand, County Waterford; the fourteenth to be discovered in Britain and Ireland so far this autumn, with others remaining today in Cornwall, Kent, Lincolnshire, Norfolk, and Suffolk.

The two juvenile Black Storks remained together by the Dee Estuary in Cheshire and Wirral until 13:19 but by 17:30 they had crossed England and arrived at Gibraltar Point, Lincolnshire from where they later departed south.

Elsewhere, continuing rarities confirmed as still present comprised the Long-tailed Shrike on the Gloucestershire/Oxfordshire border, Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Hudsonian Godwit between Essex and Suffolk, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Lesser Scaup in Fife, and in Norfolk a Marsh Sandpiper found yesterday at Breydon Water showed again there this evening.
