| The new rarity today was a Gull-billed Tern at Ballycotton in County Cork.
Continuing rarities today included Bonaparte's Gull in Shetland, Pacific Golden Plover in East Yorkshire, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Caspian Tern in Kent, Western Reef Heron in Pembrokeshire, Black-winged Kite in Norfolk and Iberian Chiffchaff in North Yorkshire. Other notable news today was belated news of a Little Swift at Grantown-on-Spey in Highland on the 6th of June. |
