Discoveries today included a Caspian Tern in Norfolk at Breydon Water, a Savi's Warbler in Somerset in song at Catcott Lows, and a Red-rumped Swallow briefly in Highland at Thurso. In Suffolk the Gull-billed Tern returned to Hollesley Marshes and then later Minsmere.

Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Great Reed Warbler in Somerset, Greenish Warbler in Shetland, territorial Iberian Chiffchaffs in both Northumberland and North Yorkshire, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Lesser Scaup in Buckinghamshire, and Red-footed Falcons in County Louth and Suffolk.

In Gwynedd the Western Reef Heron was only reported briefly in flight; initially at Dinas Dinlle and then later at Foryd Bay.
