  New rarities today consisted of a Zitting Cisticola at Foreness Point in Kent, a Greenish Warbler at Sumburgh Head on Shetland, a Lesser Grey Shrike at Stromfirth on Shetland, and a Red-footed Falcon at Kilbaha in County Clare.

Rarities included a Western Reef Heron in Gwynedd, a Subalpine Warbler in Shetland, a Greenish Warbler in Shetland, a Lesser Grey Shrike in Shetland, a Great Reed Warbler in Somerset, Red-footed Falcons in Norfolk and Suffolk, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, a White-winged Scoter in Fife, Iberian Chiffchaffs in County Durham and North Yorkshire, a Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, and a Caspian Tern in Staffordshire.
