| The find of the day was a Brunnich's Guillemot at Cape Wrath in Highland.
New rarities today consisted of a Subalpine Warbler at Sumburgh Head on Shetland, a White-rumped Sandpiper at Langford Lowfields in Nottinghamshire, a White-winged Scoter at Musselburgh Lagoons in Lothian, and a Bonaparte's Gull at Hayling Island in Hampshire. Rarities included the Western Reef Heron in Gwynedd, a White-rumped Sandpiper in Nottinghamshire, Red-footed Falcons in Norfolk, Suffolk and County Louth, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, an American Black Tern in Northumberland, White-winged Scoters in Fife and County Galway, a Lesser Scaup in Buckinghamshire, a Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, a Woodchat Shrike in Anglesey, and a Least Tern in County Dublin. |
