  Discoveries today included a Squacco Heron in County Wicklow at Killoughter, a Western Subalpine Warbler in Shetland on Unst, Great Reed Warblers both in Orkney on Westray and Suffolk at Bawdsey, and three Red-footed Falcons, all brief encounters: in County Kilkenny at Kilkenny, Lincolnshire at Anderby Creek, and Oxfordshire at Rushy Common.

Continuing rarities comprised both the Trumpeter Finch and White-rumped Sandpiper still in County Wexford, Black-winged Kite still in Norfolk, Gull-billed Tern in Suffolk, White-winged Scoter in Fife, Blue-winged Teal and Great Reed Warbler in Somerset, American Black Tern in Northumberland, and Rustic Bunting and King Eider in Shetland.
