| New rarities today consisted of a Subalpine Warbler on the Isle of May in Fife, a Greenish Warbler at Spurn Point in East Yorkshire, a Roller at Ipley Inclosure in the New Forest in Hampshire, a Black-headed Bunting at Deerness in Orkney, Red-footed Falcons at Haddiscoe and Edgefield in Norfolk and Dundalk in County Louth, a Little Bittern at Lower Moors in St.Mary's in Scilly, and a Red-rumped Swallow at Carn Friars in St.Mary's in Scilly.
Rarities included a Great Reed Warbler in Somerset, a White-winged Scoter in Fife, King Eiders in Shetland and Highland, a Pacific Diver in Shetland, a Black-headed Bunting in Orkney, an Iberian Chiffchaff in North Yorkshire, a Red-rumped Swallow in Scilly, a Little Bittern in Scilly, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, and an American Black Tern in Northumberland. |
