| New rarities today consisted of a Broad-billed Sandpiper at Queen Elizabeth II Reservoir in Surrey, an Alpine Swift at Foula in Shetland, Black Kites at The Roaches in Staffordshire and Amberley in West Sussex, a Blue-winged Teal at Ham Wall RSPB in Somerset, Red-rumped Swallows at Bardsey Island in Gwynedd and Langdon Cliffs in Kent, and a Blyth's Reed Warbler at Spurn in East Yorkshire.
Rarities included a Northern Parula in Shetland, a Great Reed Warbler in Somerset, a White-winged Scoter in Fife, a Black Scoter in Fife, an Iberian Chiffchaff in County Durham, an American Black Tern in Northumberland, a Pacific Diver in County Mayo, a Red-footed Falcon in Cornwall, and a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk. |
