Wednesday 20th May 2026  
  New rarities today consisted of a Lesser Yellowlegs at Butt of Lewis in the Western Isles, a Gull-billed Tern at Minsmere RSPB in Suffolk, and a Thrush Nightingale on Fair Isle in Shetland.

Rarities included White-winged Scoters in Fife, a Black Scoter in Fife, Red-footed Falcons in Dorset and East Yorkshire, an Iberian Chiffchaff in County Durham, a King Eider in Highland, a Gull-billed Tern in Suffolk, a Bonaparte's Gull in Staffordshire, a Lesser Scaup in Buckinghamshire, a Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, an American Black Tern in Northumberland, and a Rustic Bunting in Orkney.
