  New rarities today consisted of a Bonaparte's Gull at Branston Island, Lincolnshire, Red-footed Falcon at Reculver, Kent, and Lesser Yellowlegs at Aldeburgh, Suffolk.

Rarities included Lesser Scaup in Hertfordshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Antrim, White-winged Scoter in Fife, Black Scoter in Fife, Dusky Warbler in Cornwall, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Iberian Chiffchaffs in County Durham and Suffolk, King Eider in Shetland, Ferruginous Ducks in Cambridgeshire and Warwickshire, Pacific Diver in County Mayo, Blue-winged Teals in County Clare, Bonaparte's Gull in Dorset, and Zitting Cisticolas in Suffolk.
