  The new rarities today included Olive-backed Pipit at Great Saltee in County Wexford, a second Bonaparte's Gull at Seaton in Devon, a Kentish Plover between Marazion and Penzance in Cornwall and an Alpine Swift on St Mary's in Scilly.

Continuing rarities today included Stejneger's Scoter in Fife, White-winged Scoter in Fife (2), Black Scoter in Fife, Hooded Merganser in Warwickshire, Blue-winged Teals in County Clare (2), King Eider in Shetland, Lesser Scaup in Hertfordshire, Bonaparte's Gulls in Devon (2) and Dorset, Zitting Cisticolas in Suffolk (2), Western Subalpine Warbler in County Wexford, Iberian Chiffchaff in County Durham and Suffolk, Hume's Warbler in Warwickshire and Suffolk and Dusky Warbler in Cornwall.
