| The new rarities today consisted of a Great Reed Warbler in East Yorkshire at Spurn, Ross's Gull at Titchwell RSPB in Norfolk, Ferruginous Duck at Maple Cross in Hertfordshire, Red-rumped Swallow at Old Harry in Dorset, Richardson's Cackling Goose at Balranald RSPB on the Western Isles, and an Ashy-headed Wagtail at Cors Ddyga on Anglesey.
Continuing rarities today included Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, Hooded Merganser in Warwickshire, White-winged Scoter in Fife, Lesser Scaups in Worcestershire (2) and Hertfordshire, Marsh Sandpiper in County Durham, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall and Denbighshire, Bonaparte's Gulls in Cornwall and County Wexford, Forster's Tern in Dorset, Iberian Chiffchaffs in County Durham, Suffolk, and Borders, and Hume's Warblers in Suffolk and Warwickshire. |
