  New rarities today consisted of a Lesser Scaup at Staines Reservoir, Surrey, Eastern Subalpine Warbler at Coquet Island, Northumberland, Black Kite at Brawlbin, Highland, and Iberian Chiffchaff at Pease Dean SWT, Borders.

Rarities included Lesser Scaup in Hertfordshire and Shropshire, Hume's Warbler in Suffolk and Warwickshire, Hooded Merganser in Warwickshire, Marsh Sandpiper in County Durham, Bonaparte's Gulls in Cornwall, Dorset and Essex, Forster's Tern in Dorset, Long-billed Dowitcher in Angus, Black-throated Thrush in Lothian, Iberian Chiffchaff in County Durham, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, and American Bittern in County Cork.
