| The new rarities today included an adult Bonaparte's Gull at Cardiff in Glamorgan, Lesser Yellowlegs at Leighton Moss in Lancashire, a juvenile Pallid Harrier west of Richmond in North Yorkshire and a Red-rumped Swallow at Sand Point in Somerset.
Continuing rarities today included Hooded Merganser in Warwickshire, White-winged Scoter in Fife, Lesser Scaup in Hertfordshire, Shropshire and Worcestershire (2), Marsh Sandpiper in County Durham, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Bonaparte's Gulls in Cornwall, Dorset, Essex and Lancashire, Iberian Chiffchaff in County Durham, Hume's Warbler in Suffolk and Black-throated Thrush in Lothian. Late news from yesterday also came in the shape of a new Red-rumped Swallow at Aberdaron in Gwynedd. |
