Thursday 9th April 2026  
  New rarities today consisted of Bonaparte's Gulls at Tacumshin, County Wexford and at Chickerell(2), Dorset, Alpine Swift at Felixstowe Ferry, Suffolk, Blue-winged Teal at Potteric Carr YWT, South Yorkshire, Black Kite at Seasalter, Kent, and a Pallid Harrier that was first seen in North Norfolk and then traveled to Minsmere RSPB, Suffolk.

Rarities included Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, Lesser Scaup in Buckinghamshire and Lesser Scaups in Shropshire and Worcestershire(2), Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Dusky Warbler in Cornwall, Hume's Warbler in Suffolk, King Eider in Highland, Hooded Merganser in Warwickshire, Marsh Sandpiper in County Durham, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Stejneger's Scoter in Fife, White-winged Scoter in Fife, Ross's Goose in Argyll, and American Bittern in County Cork.
