| The new rarity today was a Black Kite which flew over Tenterden in Kent.
Continuing rarities today included American Bittern in County Cork, Redhead in County Kerry, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, Stejneger's Scoter in Fife, Canvasback in Essex, King Eider in Highland, Lesser Scaup in Essex (2), Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, Cackling Goose in Dumfries and Galloway, Semipalmated Sandpiper in County Clare, Long-billed Dowitcher in Orkney, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Forster's Tern in Dorset, Bonaparte's Gull in Cornwall (2) and Devon, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan/Carmarthenshire, Hume's Warblers in both Suffolk and Warwickshire, Dusky Warbler in Cornwall and Red-flanked Bluetail in Kent. |
