| The new rarities today were a Pacific Diver at Tonatanvally in County Mayo, a Black Kite over South Foreland Valley in Kent and a Dowitcher species at Banks Marsh NNR in Lancashire.
Continuing rarities today included Redhead in County Kerry, Canvasback in Essex, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Black Scoter in County Kerry, King Eider in Highland, Ross's Goose in Argyll, Lesser Yellowlegs in Denbighshire, Forster's Tern in Dorset, Ross's Gull in Argyll, Bonaparte's Gull in Cornwall (2), Black-winged Kite in Norfolk, Northern Harrier in County Wexford, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan/Carmarthenshire, Eastern Oriental Turtle Dove in County Antrim, Zitting Cisticola in Suffolk, Hume's Warbler in Suffolk and Warwickshire and Dusky Warbler in Cornwall. Significant news from yesterday was of an American Bittern in County Cork at Cuskinny Marsh. |
