  Rarities today comprised the Harlequin Duck still in County Donegal, Northern Harrier and Lesser Scaup in County Wexford, Forster's Tern and Red-rumped Swallow in Dorset, Ross's Gull, Pacific Diver, Dusky Warbler, and Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Eastern Black Redstart in Norfolk, Hume's Warbler in Suffolk, Red-flanked Bluetail in Kent, King Eider in Shetland, Long-billed Dowitcher in Orkney, Bonaparte's Gulls in Cornwall, Scilly, and the Western Isles, and further Lesser Scaups in Essex, Northamptonshire, and Worcestershire (2).
