| The highlight of the day was a Red-rumped Swallow in Dorset at Radipole Lake; the third in four days following one on 26th in County Cork and another yesterday in Suffolk.
Continuing rarities included the Stejneger's Scoter still in Fife, Ross's Gull, Pacific Diver, and Dusky Warbler all still in Cornwall, Double-crested Cormorant in County Sligo, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Eastern Black Redstart in Norfolk, Hume's Warblers in both Suffolk and Warwickshire, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, King Eider in Highland and Shetland, Ferruginous Duck in County Tyrone, Long-billed Dowitchers in Angus and Orkney, Lesser Yellowlegs in County Antrim, Cornwall, and Denbighshire, Bonaparte's Gulls in Scilly and the Western Isles, and Lesser Scaups in Northamptonshire and Worcestershire (2). |
