  New rarities today included an Alpine Swift at Youghal, County Cork, and a Bonaparte's Gull at Hayle Estuary, Cornwall.

Rarities included the Eastern Black Redstart in Norfolk, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, Lesser Scaups in Northamptonshire, Essex and County Wexford, Hume's Warbler in Suffolk, Ferruginous Duck in County Tyrone, Ross's Gull in Cornwall, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, Bonaparte's Gulls in Cornwall and Scilly, Pacific Diver in Cornwall, Stejneger's Scoter in Fife, Long-billed Dowitcher in Angus, Lesser Yellowlegs in Denbighshire, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, and Redhead in County Kerry.
