  New rarities today included a Cackling Goose at Saltfleetby in Lincolnshire, and a Lesser Scaup at Woolston Eyes NR in Cheshire.

Rarities included Redhead in County Kerry, Eastern Black Redstart in Norfolk, Harlequin Duck in County Donegal, Bufflehead in Anglesey, Lesser Scaups in Cornwall, Surrey and County Cork, Hume's Warbler in Suffolk, Ferruginous Ducks in Cambridgeshire and County Tyrone, Red-flanked Bluetail in Kent, Blue-winged Teal in Moray, Pacific Divers in Cornwall and County Donegal, Black Scoters in Highland and County Kerry, Stejneger's Scoter in Fife, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, Lesser Yellowlegs in Denbighshire, Dusky Warbler in Cornwall, and White-winged Scoter in Fife.
