| Rarities in Britain today comprised Stejneger's Scoter and White-winged Scoter both still in Fife, Bufflehead still on Anglesey, Ross's Goose still in Argyll, Pacific Diver, Dusky Warbler, and Lesser Yellowlegs all in Cornwall, Hume's Warbler in Suffolk, Eastern Black Redstart in Norfolk, Pallid Harrier in Carmarthenshire, Black Kite in Orkney, Lesser Yellowlegs in Denbighshire, Lesser Scaup in Leicestershire, and Ferruginous Duck in Cambridgeshire.
In Ireland Harlequin Duck and Pacific Diver remained in County Donegal, Pacific Diver and Richardson's Cackling Goose in County Mayo, and Spotted Sandpiper was still in County Waterford. |
