Sunday 4th January 2026  
  The highlights of the day came from County Wexford where a American Coot was discovered at Tacumshin and a Bufflehead at North Slob, and in Dorset a Dusky Warbler was new at Langton Herring.

Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were both the Black-winged Kite and Eastern Black Redstart in Norfolk, Bufflehead in Gwynedd, Zitting Cisticola in Suffolk, three Penduline Tits together in Gloucestershire, Semipalmated Sandpiper in County Clare, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, Kentish Plover in Somerset, Dusky Warblers in Cornwall and County Waterford, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall and Denbighshire, Ferruginous Ducks in Lincolnshire and Norfolk, and single Lesser Scaups in Essex, Shropshire, and Surrey.
