| Discoveries today included a Hooded Merganser in London at Springwell Lake, Ferruginous Ducks in Cambridgeshire (2), Hertfordshire and Warwickshire, and in Avon now three Penduline Tits together at Aust.
Rarities elsewhere comprised the Harlequin Duck still in County Donegal, three Zitting Cisticolas still together in Suffolk, male Buffleheads in both County Kerry and Gwynedd, Hume's Warbler in Norfolk, King Eiders in Highland and Shetland, Semipalmated Sandpiper in County Clare, Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall, Richardson's Cackling Goose in Argyll, and a Lesser Scaup still in Essex. |
