  The new rarity today was an Arctic Redpoll in Nybster, Highland.

Continuing rarities included a Desert Wheatear in Dorset; Double-crested Cormorant in County Leitrim; Dusky Warblers in Cornwall, Kent, and Scilly; Hume's Warbler in Norfolk; Kentish Plover in Somerset; Killdeer in County Wexford; King Eider in Shetland; Lesser Scaup in Leicestershire; Lesser Yellowlegs in County Antrim; Northern Harrier in County Wexford; Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan; Richardson's Cackling Goose in County Sligo; Semipalmated Sandpiper in County Clare; and White-rumped Sandpiper in County Wexford.
