  New rarities today consisted of a King Eider off Unst, Shetland; Red-breasted Goose at Wallasea Island, Essex; Hume's Warbler at Easington, East Yorkshire; and Lesser Scaup at Lough Leane, County Kerry.

Continuing rarities included Bufflehead in County Kerry; Hume's Warblers in East Yorkshire and Norfolk; Kentish Plover in Somerset; Lesser Scaup in Leicestershire; Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall; Pallid Harrier in Carmarthenshire; and Richardson's Cackling Goose in County Sligo.
