  Mega highlights consisted of an Eleonora's Falcon on Islay, Argyll.

New rarities included Pallid Swift at Sidmouth, Devon; Pallid Swift at Thorne, South Yorkshire; Pallid Swift at Whitburn, Co. Durham; Lesser Scaup at Staines Reservoir, Surrey; Radde's Warbler on Stronsay, Orkney; and 3 Penduline Tits at Titchfield Haven, Hampshire.

Continuing rarities included Pacific Diver in Co. Cork; Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall; 2 White-rumped Sandpipers in Co. Derry; Dusky Warblers in Kent, Leicestershire, East Yorkshire, and Norfolk; Pallid Swift in Norfolk; Isabelline Shrike in Suffolk; Olive-backed Pipit in Cleveland; Harlequin Duck in Co. Donegal; Lesser Scaups in Essex, Leicestershire, and the Western Isles; Long-billed Dowitcher in Angus; Kentish Plover in Somerset; and Pallid Harrier in Glamorgan.
