  Mega highlights consisted of a Siberian Rubythroat on Unst, Shetland.

New rarities included Penduline Tit at Aust Warth, Gloucestershire; Kentish Plover at Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset; Isabelline Wheatears at St. Martin's, Scilly and Spurn, East Yorkshire; Isabelline Shrike at North Warren RSPB, Suffolk; Dusky Warblers at Flamborough Head, East Yorkshire; St. Mary's, Scilly; Waxham, Norfolk; Baltasound, Unst, Shetland; and Kingsdown, Kent; Pallid Swifts at Great Cowden and Easington, East Yorkshire, and The Naze, Essex; and Olive-backed Pipit at Wester Quarff, Shetland.

Continuing rarities included Black-faced Bunting in Shetland, Daurian Shrike in Co. Wexford, Dusky Warbler in Leicestershire, East Yorkshire, Norfolk, Kent, Northumberland, Shetland, Great Yarmouth, and Weybourne, Harlequin Duck in Co. Donegal, Isabelline Wheatear in Scilly, Lesser Scaups in Northants, Beds, Argyll, Essex, and Cornwall, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall and Anglesey, Northern Harrier in Co. Wexford, Olive-backed Pipit in Cleveland, Pallid Harrier in Pembrokeshire, Pallid Swift in Kent, Pechora Pipit in Shetland, Richardson's Cackling Goose in Cumbria and Co. Sligo, Western Oriental Turtle Dove in Shetland, and Zitting Cisticolas in Suffolk.

Late news included two Penduline Tits at Titchfield Haven NNR, Hampshire, Dusky Warbler at Great Yarmouth Cemetery, Norfolk, and two Dusky Warblers at Weybourne Camp, Norfolk.
