| Mega highlights consisted of a Killdeer on Skokholm, Pembrokeshire.
New rarities included Radde's Warbler on Westray, Orkney, Dusky Warbler at Sandwick, Mainland, Shetland, Bonaparte's Gull on Papa Westray, Orkney, Pallid Swift at Foreness Point, Kent, White-rumped Sandpipers at Ballycotton, Co. Cork and Lough Beg, Co. Derry, Saker Falcon at Portland Bill, Dorset, and Lesser Scaups at Helston, Cornwall. Continuing rarities included Western Oriental Turtle Doves in Shetland, Steppe Grey Shrike in Cornwall, Zitting Cisticolas in Suffolk, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall and Anglesey, Daurian Shrike in Co. Wexford, Harlequin Duck in Co. Donegal, Lesser Scaup in Northants, Richardson's Cackling Goose in Cumbria, and Red-breasted Goose on Islay, Argyll. |
