| Mega highlights consisted of a Black-faced Bunting on Fair Isle, Shetland.
New rarities included a Oriental Turtle Dove at Hillwell, Shetland, Pallid Swift at Selsey Bill, West Sussex, and White-rumped Sandpipers at two new locations in Scotland at Riverside Nature Park near Dundee, Angus and at Invergowrie, Perth and Kinross. Continuing rarities included Brown Shrike in Suffolk, Steppe Grey Shrike in Cornwall and Shetland, Daurian Shrike in Co. Wexford, Isabelline Shrike sp. in West Sussex, Lesser Yellowlegs in Cornwall and Co. Antrim, Lesser Scaup in Co. Wexford and Northants, Long-billed Dowitchers in Angus and Co. Wexford, Bonaparte's Gull in Co. Antrim, Harlequin Duck in Co. Donegal, White-rumped Sandpipers in Co. Derry, Richardson's Cackling Goose in Argyll, and Northern Harriers in Co. Wexford. |
