| New rarities consisted of a Tawny Pipit at Winterton North Dunes in Norfolk, a Brown Shrike at Hunmanby Gap in North Yorkshire, Siberian Stonechats at Bempton Cliffs RSPB and at Grimston in East Yorkshire, Semipalmated Sandpipers at Melby Beach on mainland Shetland and at Bryher, Scilly, and an Isabelline Wheatear at Seaburn in Co.Durham.
Continuing rarities included a Western Sandpiper at Maidens in Ayrshire, a Lesser Yellowlegs at Loughor in Glamorgan, a Lesser Grey Shrike at Winterton North Dunes in Norfolk, a White-winged Scoter at Musselburgh Lagoons in Lothian, a Baird's Sandpiper at Aird Mhicheil on South Uist in Western Isles, a Lesser Yellowlegs at Etton Maxey Pits in Cambridgeshire, a Blue-winged Teal at Loch of Hillwell on Mainland in Shetland, an American Pipit on North Ronaldsay in Orkney, an Isabelline Wheatear at Eoropie on Lewis in Western Isles, and a Marsh Sandpiper at Musselburgh Lagoons in Lothian |
