  New discoveries today included a Booted Warbler in Dorset, Western Bonelli's Warbler in Norfolk, Blyth's Reed Warbler in Orkney, Greenish Warblers in Yorkshire and Shetland, Squacco Heron in Cambridgeshire, Pacific Golden Plover in Yorkshire and Pallid Swift in Borders.

Lingering rarities included the Black-winged Kite and Pacific Golden Plover in Norfolk, three Zitting Cisticolas in Suffolk, two Greenish Warblers in Yorkshire, Western Sandpiper in Ayrshire, Marsh Sandpiper in Lothian, Baird's Sandpipers in Cornwall and Western Isles, Lesser Yellowlegs in Carmarthenshire, White-winged Scoter in Lothian, Lesser Scaup in Staffordshire, Black Kite in Cornwall and Azorean Yellow-legged Gull in County Mayo.
