  New discoveries today included a Pacific Golden Plover on the Alaw Estuary in Anglesey and a Caspian Tern near Helford, Cornwall.

Lingering rarities included the Black Stork in Suffolk, White-winged Scoters in Lothian and Angus, two Lesser Scaups in Staffordshire, Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire, Eastern Subalpine Warbler in Shetland, Caspian Tern in Nottinghamshire, Lesser Yellowlegs in Lancashire, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford and Bonaparte's Gull in Kent.
