  Headline news came from Staffordshire, where a Lesser Scaup was discovered at Belvide Reservoir.

Another notable arrival was an adult Long-billed Dowitcher at Tacumshin, County Wexford.

Continuing highlights included the mobile Black Stork around Hollesley, Boyton and Orford Ness Suffolk, White-rumped Sandpipers at Tacumshin, Co.Wexford and Spurn, E.Yorks, a White-winged Scoter in Lothian, a Bonaparte's Gull in Kent, Lesser Scaup in Greater Manchester, and a Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire.
