A second-summer drake White-winged Scoter was found with Eiders off Musselburgh in Lothian this morning and a Blyth's Reed Warbler was trapped and ringed at Gibraltar Point in Lincolnshire. Also in Lincolnshire, the Collared Pratincole was still around this morning at Frampton Marsh but then flew north. However, what is presumably the same bird appeared at Ouse Fen in Cambridgeshire this evening.

The Song Sparrow appears to have departed from Tory Island, County Donegal but the Western Sandpiper was still to be found at Maidens Harbour in Ayrshire. Other lingering rarities included Least Tern in County Dublin, Black-winged Pratincole in Shetland, Ferruginous Ducks in Warwickshire, Leicestershire and Cambridgeshire, American Black Tern still in Northumberland but now on Inner Farne, Blyth's Reed Warbler in Borders, Great Reed Warbler in Yorkshire and Savi's Warbler in Lincolnshire.
