  The highlight of the day was the discovery of a Spotted Sandpiper in West Yorkshire at Mirfield, whilst in East Sussex a Red-footed Falcon flew over Firle.

Continuing rarities confirmed as still present were the Song Sparrow in County Donegal, Least Tern in County Dublin, Black-winged Pratincole in Shetland, Collared Pratincole and Savi's Warbler in Lincolnshire, Little Bittern in the Isles of Scilly, Great Reed Warbler in East Yorkshire, American Black Tern in Northumberland, Lesser Yellowlegs in Hampshire, White-rumped Sandpiper in County Londonderry, and Ferruginous Duck in Warwickshire.
