| The highlight of the day was the continuing influx of Red-footed Falcons with 15 birds today comprising six in Suffolk (including five together on Norfolk border at Carlton Marshes), three in Kent, two in Cambridgeshire (together at Ouse Fen), and singles in Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Somerset, and County Wexford. Other rarities today were both Spotted Sandpiper and Great Reed Warbler still in Cambridgeshire, three White-winged Scoters in Fife, Blue-winged Teal still in London at Rainham Marshes, Subalpine Warbler species, Savi's Warbler, Black Kite, and Red-rumped Swallow all in Cornwall, Red-rumped Swallow in the Isles of Scilly on Tresco, and Lesser Yellowlegs in both County Cork and North Yorkshire (2). |
