  Discoveries today included an Alpine Swift in County Waterford at Dungarvan and a Red-rumped Swallow on Lewis, Western Isles.

Continuing rarities comprised the Eastern Bonelli's Warbler still in Shetland, Subalpine Warbler species still in East Yorkshire, Savi's Warbler in Cornwall, Bonaparte's Gull in Ceredigion, and pairs of Lesser Scaup in both Essex and Somerset.

Significant late news of a White-throated Sparrow present in Hampshire on Monday but not been seen since.
