The highlight of the day was a Crag Martin in Norfolk at Winterton Dunes in the eary morning; a county first. Elsewhere an Eastern Subalpine Warbler was new in Shetland on Fair Isle, and in East Yorkshire a Subalpine Warbler species was at Flamborough Head albeit briefly, and a Black Kite was reported at Out Newton.

Continuing rarities were the Eastern Bonelli's Warbler still in Shetland, Forster's Tern still in Dorset, Eastern Subalpine Warbler in North Yorkshire, Savi's Warbler still in Cornwall, Bonaparte's Gull in Ceredigion, and pairs of Lesser Scaups in both Essex and Somerset.
