  Discoveries today included a Whiskered Tern in Somerset at Durleigh Reservoir, an Ashy-headed Wagtail in Northumberland at St Mary's Island, Ferruginous Duck in Shropshire at Aston's Lock, Black Kite in Kent at Sandwich Bay, and a Red-rumped Swallow briefly in Dorset at Portland Bill.

Continuing rarities included the Booted Eagle in Kent at Ramsgate until mid morning, American Coot still in Shetland, Forster's Tern still in Dorset, Least Sandpiper in West Sussex, two Pacific Divers together in County Mayo, Pallid Harrier in Lincolnshire, Long-billed Dowitcher in County Wexford, Bonaparte's Gull in Conwy, and Lesser Scaups in Dorset, Essex, (2), Gloucestershire, and Somerset (2).
