| In County Mayo, the Elegant Tern reappeared at Sruhill Lough this afternoon. A female Subalpine Warbler species was found at Weymouth, Dorset, Red-rumped Swallows were at Portland, Dorset, North Hallsands, Devon (three) and Tacumshin, County Wexford, an Alpine Swift was at St Buryan, Cornwall and a Black Scoter was at Ruddons Point, Fife.
Lingering rarities still present included the Alpine Accentor in Cornwall, Western Subalpine Warbler in County Cork, Least Sandpiper in Sussex, Long-billed Dowitcher in Devon, Lesser Scaups in Dorset and Western Isles and two Richardson's Cackling Geese in Western Isles. |
